I’m Ajvinder Singh, a British Council–registered UK Agent and Counsellor and founder of MyUniJourney. I support international students through every stage of their UK journey: course discovery, university shortlisting, application strategy, documentation, interview preparation, visa support, and settling in. My guidance is student-first — focused on academic fit, budget, and long-term goals, not commission.
Direct admissions relationships that protect your application
I maintain close working relationships with admissions teams at leading UK universities. This means students receive accurate advice, timely updates, and intervention if anything changes or goes wrong. A student applying alone simply does not have this access — and it can make a critical difference.
When you apply independently, you rely on generic email inboxes and response queues. If a document is incorrect, a detail is missing, or requirements change last minute, you may only discover it when it’s too late. With me, it’s handled with a direct email to the admissions team — fast, professional, and proactive. I know the people reviewing applications, and they know the accuracy and quality of the students I support.
Why “right-fit” matters
University choice affects academic success and career outcomes. I prioritise genuine fit — teaching style, curriculum, graduate outcomes, support services, location, and affordability. If a university paying commission isn’t best for you, I will not recommend it. Integrity first.
UK student-life expertise
I studied at two London universities. Before founding MyUniJourney, I built multiple start-ups — experience that now helps me support students with organisation, clarity, and strategy.
Ethical, certified guidance
As a British Council-certified counsellor, I follow the National Code of Ethical Practice for Education Agents. My work is transparent, compliant, and student-first.
Growing a transparent community
I am building a YouTube channel and Reddit community for open, honest admissions advice. Organic growth builds trust — the foundation of student success.
A personal, human approach
Outside work, I am a husband and father. My wife is a social worker, and our son Zen (8) is playful, kind — and wonderfully energetic. Family values shape my work: empathy, patience, honesty, and support.
